Sinking Concrete Lifting Process
ACCULIFT will raise and support sinking concrete by drilling small holes and injecting high density foam material beneath the concrete. A polyurethane foam expands beneath the surface filling voids and raises the concrete. The lightweight foam is approximately 2 pounds per cubic foot compared to traditional concrete that is 150 pounds per cubic foot. Our lightweight foam will fill the area, lift the concrete slab without further burdening the already weak soil.
STEP 1: DRILL
Small 5/8: holes, the size of a dime, are drilled through the sinking concrete.
STEP 2: PUMP
Polyurethane foam is injected under the concrete. Voids are filled, base material stabilized, and concrete is raised to the desired height.
STEP 3: PATCH
When complete, the holes are patched concealed with cement. The concrete is ready to use.
